Test rig for centrifugal pumps of INOXPA

Centrifugal pumps undergo hydraulic testing to evaluate their performance and to determine whether they fulfil the acceptance criteria.

The fully automated tests use water and are run by a customised computer programme developed specifically for INOXPA. Each test involves measuring the flow rate, pressure and energy consumption at different operating points.

The control system records the data of each test, analyses it, compares it to the relevant standard curve and validates the test against the acceptance criteria as specified by the EN ISO 9906:2012 standard.

Once the pump is validated, a test report is produced, which is stored in a database and linked to the pump’s serial number. Test reports are available on request.
