For sustainable development to be achieved, it is crucial to harmonise three core elements: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection. These elements are interrelated and each of them plays a vital role in the well-being of individuals and society as a whole.
Social actions
INOXPA may now be a major worldwide operation, but we remain a local company with a strong sense of regional connection and community commitment.
Although part of our business strategy has involved raising our international profile, our sales approach has been based on proximity and constant contact with our customers, their culture and the society of every country in which the company operates.
Conserving our local roots enables us to learn about each region and form part of each community’s development, understanding their real social needs. This proximity enables us to help their growth and development, adding our grains of sand to help build a better society.
Improving education in raral areas
INOXPA helped with the refurbishment of a rural school in the village, Sangavi Taluka Khandala, located in the district of Satara (Maharashtra)
INOXA South Africa helps with social inclusion for people with disabilities through educational and work scheme sponsorship.
INOXPA has installed two photoelectric power generation plants at its headquarters, with a total installed capacity of 235 kWp.
Equipment for sustainability
INOXPA are committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and improve the lives and outlooks of people worldwide. Our solutions have been designed in line with these goals so our equipment is more energy efficient and uses fewer resources during production processes.
Our engineering department develops continuous improvement processes so our equipment and components use less and less water and raw materials, while also reducing waste and emissions.
INOXPA CIP CLEANING SYSTEM:
In order to meet these goals, one phase requiring optimisation in the food processing, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical sectors is the cleaning phase.
The INOXPA components (pumps, valves, and agitators) used in installations in the food processing, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical sectors are hygienically designed, meaning they are easy to clean without requiring disassembly. Some of these components have EHEDG and/or 3 A certification, guaranteeing that they comply with the highest requirements demanded by this type of industry.
INOXPA production equipment, such as pasteurisers, reactors, and other blending equipment are designed in accordance with the strictest hygiene standards, meaning they can be cleaned as efficiently as possible.
INOXPA STERIPIG PRODUCT RECOVERY SYSTEM
A CIP system can be complemented with use of an INOXPA PIG product recovery system. Using this system will provide the following benefits:
- Finished product recovery
Using the PIG system directly after finalising the transfer phase will enable the recovery of up to 98% of product remaining in the pipes, which could represent considerable value.
- Waste reduction
If the remaining product in pipes is not recovered, it has to go down the drain, requiring a treatment or purification process, which are increasingly more demanding and expensive.
- CIP process simplification
If the product has been recovered from pipes, it simplifies the subsequent CIP cleaning process, saving water, energy, and chemical products.
So, since its establishment until now, INOXPA has continuously pursued the Sustainable Development Goals through social activities and further development of continuous improvement processes so that their equipment and components become more effective, using less water and raw materials, reducing waste and emissions and reducing the overall cost of the production process.
